Comptoir des Huiles products have different certifications and labels which allow us to prove the impact of our production on the environment as well as on the well-being of our consumers.

La certification COSMOS permet la mise en vente de cosmétiques biologiques ou naturels, assurant le respect de plusieurs critères essentiels : des processus de production et de transformation respectueux de l'environnement et de la santé humaine, l'encouragement du concept de chimie verte, une utilisation responsable des ressources naturelles, la préservation de la biodiversité, et l'exclusion d'ingrédients pétrochimiques tels que parabens, phénoxyéthanol, parfums et colorants synthétiques, ainsi que d'OGM. De plus, un emballage recyclable est privilégié.

For a product to be COSMOS certified, it must meet several criteria. This must not contain petrochemical ingredients, such as parabens, phenoxyethanol, synthetic fragrances and dyes, or GMOs. Production and processing processes must be respectful of the environment and human health. Products must be made with respect for biodiversity with minimal impact on ecosystems with responsible use of natural resources. Recyclable packaging is encouraged and the choice of usable materials is regulated; materials such as PVC, for example, are prohibited.

Cosmetics labeled Organic must meet the same criteria as for COSMOS NATURAL certification, but by adding other parameters.
They must contain at least 95% ingredients from organic farming. Manufacturing processes must be regulated to exclude polluting or harmful techniques. Finally, the information on the product must be transparent, both on its packaging and on the communication around it.

Fair for Life is a certification program for fair trade in agriculture, manufacturing and trade. This label attests to the implementation of equitable partnerships, respect for human rights and natural ecosystems, and the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices.

In the interest of responsibility, the PhileoL group seeks to perfect and certify the Comptoir des Huiles brand as much as possible. The company has been audited and certified according to the control procedures of the Fair for Life Program, an attestation program for fair trade and responsible sectors. It was born from the desire to economically develop the poorest regions of Madagascar by promoting the natural resources present. The oilseed sector thus created is today positioned as a sustainable source of income for this population which cyclically fights against famine.

The FFL label guarantees fair practices throughout the sector: fair purchase price above the market, protection mechanism in the event of a climate or other crisis, decent working conditions which allow the strengthening of the autonomy of producers. As well as the promotion of environmentally friendly agricultural practices which encourage the transition to Organic Agriculture
