Shea Butter
Shea butter is essential in your skincare routine! It protects, softens and repairs the driest and damaged skin. Shea butter leaves a protective layer on your skin to fight against external aggressions.
Incorporated into your hair preparations, it nourishes and restores shine and beauty to hair. Very versatile, this butter can be applied directly to the skin or hair, or mixed with other oils or cosmetic treatments.
Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly.
Store in a dry place, away from light and avoid temperature variations.
Not recommended for people with sensitivity / allergy to nuts and latex.

The plant :
Shea butter is extracted from the nuts of the shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii), which grows in West Africa, notably in Ghana, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Senegal.
Prized for its cosmetic virtues, legend has it that emblematic figures such as Cleopatra and the Queen of Sheba adopted it to preserve their beauty. Over time, shea butter has become an essential ingredient in many African skin and hair care traditions. It was in the 18th century that explorers rediscovered this precious substance with its remarkable properties, and a flourishing trade was established between Africa and Europe.
Pour profiter pleinement des bienfaits du beurre de karité Comptoir des Huiles, il est recommandé de le chauffer légèrement entre les paumes des mains avant de l’appliquer sur la peau ou les cheveux. Cette étape permet de le rendre plus malléable et d’optimiser son absorption.
Pour le corps : Remplace un lait ou une crème pour le corps. Utiliser de la même façon en moindre quantité. Bien faire pénétrer. Convient à tous les types de peaux et particulièrement aux peaux sèches, sensibles, matures.
Pour les cheveux : Faites un masque, laisser poser 15min minimum, toute la nuit si possible avant le shampoing. Convient à tous les types de cheveux et particulièrement aux cheveux secs, fragilisés, bouclés, frisés et/ou crépus.
