What is its origin ?
Our Coconut vegetable oil comes from São Tomé and Principe.
The coconut has time to absorb its properties thanks to the slow growth of the coconut tree. It takes 3 years to get the first coconuts and a coconut tree can produce coconuts for around 100 years.
What are its benefits ?
This vegetable oil is full of protective, emollient and softening properties.
Lauric acid is a saturated fatty acid with a particular affinity for the skin and hair keratin. It is able to interact directly with hair proteins and bind them together, which strengthens and softens the fiber.
What are its characteristics ?
Opting for Coconut oil , this nourishing treatment, restores strength and suppleness to your dry hair from the first use. It provides protection against UV rays and thus protects the hair from damage that the sun can cause.
Coconut oil is also effective in deeply nourishing and repairing dry skin. As an after-sun treatment, it provides a feeling of soothing and calms the feeling of heat.
*Coconut oil is not recommended on the face as it can be comedogenic for acne-prone skin.
How to apply coconut oil?
- To nourish and protect dry skin:
Replaces body milk or cream. - To soothe weakened skin:
Gently massage areas prone to redness and itching (body or
scalp), with a dab of oil. - To repair and protect dry hair:
A tablespoon of oil to make a mask. Stretch well along the
lengths. The quantity must be adapted according to the volume of your hair.
Leave on for at least 15 minutes, overnight if possible before shampooing.
The oil can freeze at room temperature, making it difficult to remove from the bottle. To thin it, you simply need to place the bottle or jar in a bowl of hot water for 2-3 minutes.
