Ximenia Perrieri Seed Oil
The place :
Our Ximénia vegetable oil comes from Atsimo-Andrefana, a region in the southwest of Madagascar.
The plant :
Ximenia Perrieri is a small shrub found mainly in the African savannah. Its fruit contains a single seed which is very concentrated in oil since it contains up to 75%. Used by local ethnic groups, the Perrieri variety comes from Madagascar and was only discovered at the beginning of the 20th century by the botanist Henri Perrier de la Bâthie who gave it its name.
